U.S. Small Business Administration 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program for Small Businesses

Through face-to-face workshops and webinars O’Neal Technologies (OTI) is partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration to achieve its FY 2009 8(a) Business Development Program goals. OTI will assist SBA in meeting its Program objectives by providing business development workshops to 7(j) eligible small businesses.

The emphasis will be for 9000 plus 7(j) eligible firms to be able to benefit from the training, including very specialized training in the areas federal contracting. The technical assistance will be provided in 150 classroom settings in every district office’s territory as well 10 major metropolitan areas with a high proportion of low-income individuals. Up to 40 participants per seminar/workshop will receive training on how to make “real world” business decisions that will facilitate their businesses success and they will also be provided with specially tailored technical assistance.
